Rebates - Residential and Business

Rebate types
-
POS - you receive rebate as discount on the installation price (you pay the out of pocket balance)
-
Free - type of POS rebate when the rebate covers both product and installation resulting in $0 balance.
-
Cash - you pay the full upgrade price and the rebate is paid in cash to your account as quoted
Rebate process
1. Installation is completed according to VEU requirements
-
By installer qualified for the activity (all our installers are qualified and trained)
-
Using approved product(s)
-
Evidence is collected as required for each activity
-
Claim form (aka VEEC assignment form) is filled and signed by the consumer and installer (if applicable)
2. After we received the evidence we verify the claim and advise you of the outcome. Desk and optionally phone or field audits are performed to confirm the eligibility. When passed the job is uploaded to VEU portal
3. After VEU processed and approved the claim we distribute the rebate according to the rebate type (see above)
Please note: some activities like space heating and water heating upgrades involve replacing old equipment which must be eligible for rebate. The existing products must be documented in place (with photographs and closeups of any brand and model markings). After the installation, the old product must be rendered permanently inoperable (decommissioned), removed and recycled. This is because in order to receive the rebate the old product(s) can not be re-used. We will need to keep detailed proof of the old and new product and the method of decommissioning (disabling, removing and recycling). This, and all otehr conditions must be agreed on prior installation and if not acceptable or not available, the rebate will not be approved.
